Tragedy in Kaohsiung: Missing Worker Found After Workboat Capsizes

KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN - Authorities in Kaohsiung have confirmed the recovery of the body of a missing worker following the capsizing of a workboat on September 23rd. The incident occurred outside the Shunrong plant of the Zhongxin Shipbuilding Corporation in Cijin, Kaohsiung. Two individuals were in the water following the accident; one was rescued, while the other remained missing.

At midnight on September 25th, a male body was discovered at the Cihou Fishing Port. The individual was wearing a gray shirt and black pants. Firefighters retrieved the body, and family members identified the deceased as the missing Mr. Yang. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
