Tragic Accident at Taichung Medical Center: Cleaning Staff Fatality

A fatal accident in the underground parking garage of a medical center in Taichung, Taiwan, claims the life of a cleaning staff member.

A serious incident occurred early this morning, September 13th, at a medical center in Taichung, Taiwan. A contract worker's truck, delivering hospital linens, struck a cleaning staff member in the underground parking garage. The cleaning staff member, identified as Ms. Lai, was critically injured at the scene. Despite immediate medical attention, Ms. Lai unfortunately passed away.

The accident took place in the medical center's internal parking area, which is not accessible to the public. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

Preliminary police investigations indicate that the driver of the truck, Mr. Chen (54 years old), was operating the vehicle on the B2 level of the parking garage when the collision occurred.
