According to the Taiwan Area National Freeway Bureau (高公局), at approximately 7:20 AM today, a collision involving four passenger vehicles occurred on Freeway 1 southbound at the 334.7k mark, near the Rende Service Area (仁德服務區) in Tainan.

The accident has caused a traffic backlog of approximately 6 kilometers. Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid the congested area and minimize delays.
