In a shocking event, a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. Hong, was the target of a failed abduction attempt in Taitung City, Taiwan, on the morning of July 13th. Three masked men armed with knives attacked Mr. Hong, attempting to force him into a vehicle.

The incident occurred around 1:00 AM on Hanyang North Road. After leaving a local eatery, Mr. Hong was approached by the masked men near a parking lot. Despite the attackers' efforts to drag him into a silver car, Mr. Hong fiercely resisted. During the struggle, he sustained knife wounds but managed to break free.

The assailants, facing resistance from Mr. Hong and possibly fearing intervention from nearby individuals, abandoned their plan and fled the scene. Mr. Hong, bleeding from his injuries, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.

Local police have launched a thorough investigation, securing the scene and collecting evidence. They are analyzing surveillance footage to identify the getaway vehicle and track down the perpetrators. The Taitung Police Department has confirmed that they are actively pursuing the suspects and have pledged to bring them to justice.
