A fire erupted early this morning at a shop located at No. 161 Anping Road in Anping District, Tainan City, Taiwan. The Tainan City Fire Department received the alert at 3:39 AM and promptly dispatched a significant number of personnel and vehicles to the scene.

The fire was brought under control by 3:56 AM, with no reported injuries or major property damage. The fire originated on the first floor of the shop, with the primary items involved being a refrigerator and surrounding miscellaneous materials. The fire consumed an area of approximately 5 square meters.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at 3:46 AM and initiated water-based suppression efforts at 3:51 AM, swiftly bringing the fire under control in just five minutes. This rapid containment demonstrated the efficiency of the Tainan City Fire Department's emergency response capabilities.

A total of 20 fire trucks, 45 firefighters, and 2 substitute service personnel were deployed to the scene. The initial on-site command was managed by Anping 03 and Commander 601.

Following the incident, the Fire Department also conducted fire prevention awareness campaigns at the site, reminding citizens of the importance of electrical safety and fire prevention measures to prevent similar incidents. Notifications were sent to relevant authorities, including department heads, the 110 reporting system, the Environmental Protection Bureau, the Water Supply Company, Taiwan Power Company, and the District Mayor.
