In Keelung City's Xinyi District, specifically at the intersection of Peide Road Lane 2, a traffic accident occurred this morning, the 13th, around 10:00 AM. A garbage truck, for reasons yet to be determined, slid down a slope and collided with an electricity pole. The incident also affected a residential building and vehicles parked nearby.

Emergency services were dispatched upon receiving the report. Upon arrival, they found the front of the garbage truck severely damaged and dented. Fortunately, the 24-year-old driver, identified by his surname as Chen, was conscious. He reported pain in his right lower leg. After receiving basic first aid, including bandaging and wound cleaning, he was transported to Keelung Hospital for treatment.

The exact cause and circumstances of the accident are under investigation by the police.
