A shocking incident has occurred on National Highway 1 near Neihu District, Taiwan. At approximately 2:43 PM, a 40-year-old male driver of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a collision with a guardrail at the 17K marker southbound.

Emergency services responded to the scene, finding the driver not trapped but unresponsive. It's suspected that a medical condition may have contributed to the driver's loss of consciousness prior to the impact. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to a hospital, the driver sadly succumbed to his injuries later in the evening.

Initial reports suggest the G-Wagon initially grazed the inner guardrail before the impact. It is believed that the driver may have already been experiencing a medical emergency prior to the crash. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
