On the 10th of the month, a 19-year-old male student from a vocational high school was killed when a drunk driver collided with the motorcycle he was riding, carrying his girlfriend. The girlfriend is currently in the intensive care unit, battling severe injuries.

The accident occurred around midnight. A man, identified as Mr. Zheng, was driving under the influence when he crashed into the motorcycle carrying the young couple. The male student, identified as Li, died at the scene. His girlfriend, Ms. Yan, sustained critical head injuries and remains in the ICU.

School officials have expressed their deep sorrow and are providing support to the families. The school principal stated that the graduation certificate for the deceased student, who was due to graduate, will be delivered to the funeral home before the memorial service. Regarding Ms. Yan, the school is closely monitoring her condition, which is currently not optimistic.

The school has been providing emotional support to students and is coordinating with the families to provide necessary assistance. The students wrote cards to express their condolences, which were delivered to the hospital and the funeral home. The school community is united in offering prayers and support to the injured student.

The school is also monitoring the condition of the injured student, and arrangements regarding her graduation certificate will be made once her condition stabilizes.
