Chaos erupted at the Shihpai MRT station in Taipei this evening as a woman was randomly attacked. At approximately 5:54 PM, a 50-year-old woman waiting on the platform was stabbed in the back by another woman, aged 40, using a sharp object.

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an has issued a strong statement condemning the incident. "Taipei City will not tolerate such acts of violent crime," he declared, ordering a thorough investigation and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. The police apprehended the suspect on the spot, charging her with the crime of **傷害罪 (Harm Act)**.
