Tainan, Taiwan - In the wake of a tragic incident in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, on April 19th, where a vehicle crash resulted in 3 fatalities and 12 injuries, Tainan City witnessed a similar event on the evening of April 20th. In the Yujing District, a van veered off course on Zhonghua Road, colliding with two pedestrians. The cause of the van's sudden movement remains under investigation.

Emergency services were alerted at 5:26 PM on April 20th, reporting the collision between the van and pedestrians in Tainan City's Yujing District. One male pedestrian was found without vital signs at the scene and was urgently transported to Madou Sinlou Hospital for resuscitation.
