A knife attack on the Tokyo Metro's Namboku Line at Todaimae Station in Japan sent shockwaves through the city on November 7th, raising concerns about public safety. The incident, which occurred in the evening, resulted in injuries to multiple individuals.

Reports indicate a 43-year-old man wielded a knife on the platform, injuring at least one woman and two men. Authorities swiftly apprehended the suspect and seized the weapon, a kitchen knife, as part of their investigation.

According to Japanese media, the incident unfolded around 7 PM local time. Police received multiple calls reporting the attack on the platform of Todaimae Station in Bunkyo Ward. One woman sustained cuts to her hand and neck but remained conscious. The Namboku Line was temporarily shut down following the incident.
