On the morning of October 14th, at approximately 5:16 AM, a serious collision occurred in the Wuri District of Taichung City, Taiwan, involving a large truck and a small truck. The accident resulted in significant damage to the smaller vehicle, trapping its 70-year-old driver.

The impact caused severe deformation to the small truck, leaving the driver with critical injuries, including deformed lower limbs and no vital signs upon initial assessment. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, which was near Gongyuan Road and Section 3 of Huanhe Road.

Firefighters from the Wuri and Guoguang stations were swiftly deployed to extract the injured driver. Using specialized rescue equipment, they worked to free the man from the wreckage. The driver, a man estimated to be 70 years old, was subsequently transported to the Urid Lin Shin Hospital for urgent medical attention.
