A significant fire erupted late on the night of May 13th at a recycling plant located in Xinyu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The incident, which occurred on Dongxing Road, saw the facility completely engulfed in flames, with thick plumes of smoke billowing into the sky, illuminating the night. The dramatic scene immediately alerted nearby residents.

After receiving numerous emergency calls, the Taoyuan City Fire Department mobilized over 60 firefighters and 27 vehicles to the scene. Upon arrival, the firefighters confirmed that the blaze was concentrated in a single-story, corrugated iron structure. Immediate efforts were made to deploy water lines and contain the fire.

The presence of substantial quantities of flammable materials at the site significantly fueled the fire, causing it to spread rapidly. Firefighting efforts were successful in bringing the blaze under control by 00:28, but the fire was still spreading. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire investigation team. No injuries or casualties have been reported at this time.
