"Little Dragon Girl" Member's Infidelity Case Surfaces in Taiwan: Controversy Brews

A member of the Wei Chuan Dragons cheerleading squad, known as "Xiao Zhennai" (Wang Xin-Yu), faces scrutiny after a 2023 court ruling reveals an extramarital affair.

The Taiwanese professional baseball team, Wei Chuan Dragons' cheerleading squad, "Little Dragon Girl", is again in the spotlight, but not for their usual performances. Wang Xin-Yu, also known as "Xiao Zhennai", is facing public discussion after a court decision from 2023 surfaced, revealing an extramarital affair.

Wang Xin-Yu, who previously worked as a manager in the tech industry before joining the "Little Dragon Girl" last year, is under scrutiny. Following controversies involving fellow team members, Lin Lin (Li Zhi-Lin) and Queena, a 2023 court document came to light. The ruling disclosed that Wang Xin-Yu was involved in an affair with a married male colleague.

According to the court documents, the affair occurred in 2020 when Wang Xin-Yu was working in the tech industry. The affair with the married man, identified as Mr. Zhou, lasted two years. Mr. Zhou's wife discovered the affair in October 2020 after receiving anonymous Facebook messages, including photos of her husband with Wang Xin-Yu and affectionate messages. The wife confirmed the affair with her husband, who admitted that Wang Xin-Yu affectionately called him "baby" and "husband." The wife then sued Wang Xin-Yu, seeking NT$2 million in compensation for emotional distress.
