A construction accident occurred in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, on December 12th at approximately 12:00 PM. A worker was performing work on the exterior wall of a building under construction at the intersection of Huajiang 1st Road and Huajiang 6th Road.

For reasons yet to be determined, the worker fell from the 11th floor to the 10th floor, a drop of roughly 3 meters. Fortunately, the worker was conscious at the scene. The injuries sustained included a deformed right hand and abrasions on the right side of the face. Emergency services were notified and arrived promptly, transporting the injured worker to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the specific circumstances and the underlying cause of the incident.
