In Taichung, Taiwan, a serious traffic accident occurred on the 23rd of [Month, Year], involving a 29-year-old driver, identified as 蔡男 (Cai Nan), and a 61-year-old female delivery rider, identified as 賴女 (Lai Nu).

According to reports, Cai Nan, driving a car, first sideswiped a parked vehicle before colliding with Lai Nu, who was riding a scooter. The impact caused Lai Nu to be thrown from her scooter, and resulted in scattered debris. Cai Nan's vehicle eventually came to a stop after hitting a road pole. Both individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Surveillance footage revealed that Cai Nan's vehicle struck Lai Nu from behind at high speed while she was in the outer lane. Another driver's dashcam captured the moment of impact, with the witness immediately calling for assistance.

Police investigations indicate that the incident occurred on JunGong Road, Section 1, in the Beitun District. Cai Nan's vehicle was found to contain K, and the case is initially being investigated as a case of injury due to negligence. Blood and urine samples have been collected for further analysis.

After the search of Cai Nan's car, the presence of K was confirmed. The case is initially being investigated as a case of injury due to negligence. If the toxicology reports confirm drug use, Cai Nan will face additional charges related to drug use and public endangerment, and the case will be forwarded to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office.
