Tragic Incident at Taiwan Army Training: Soldier Dies in Fall
Preparation for Reserve Duty Exercise Ends in Fatal Accident
An unfortunate incident occurred during preparations for a 14-day reserve duty exercise in Tainan, Taiwan. A soldier from the 203rd Infantry Brigade, part of the Taiwan Army, tragically lost his life.
The incident involved a Sergeant surnamed Tsai, who was involved in setting up the training facilities at the Pufa Daoji Temple in Annan District, Tainan. During the preparations, the soldier reportedly fell from a three-story height. Despite immediate medical attention, including transport to a hospital, the Sergeant did not survive.
The Eighth Army Corps has confirmed the incident and stated that the cause is under investigation by the authorities. The Army is fully cooperating with the police to determine the details surrounding the accident.
