The Baishatun Mazu pilgrimage, a celebrated tradition spanning over 200 years, has made its historic debut in Nantou County, Taiwan. This marks a significant moment for the Mountain Line route.

The Mazu's palanquin paused at the Mingjian Xiuxuan Temple at noon, and the arrival drew crowds of pilgrims and vehicles, causing traffic congestion in the surrounding area. County Magistrate Hsu Shu-hua also participated in the veneration, offering prayers for the county's residents and her family. She expressed her sincere welcome to Mazu and the Xiangdengjiao, believing their presence will bring prosperity to Nantou.

Hsu Shu-hua, the Magistrate of Nantou County, emphasized that the Baishatun Mazu pilgrimage is a major religious event. She highlighted the rarity of the event, as it is the first time Mazu is coming to Nantou, which has sparked enthusiasm among the residents. They have been eagerly discussing the entry route, and paying close attention to the Mazu's progress, eagerly anticipating the auspicious occasion. As the local leader, Hsu Shu-hua emphasized her presence at the event to welcome Mazu and pray for Nantou's stability and well-being.
