Changhua, Taiwan – A fatal traffic accident in the Tianzhong Township of Changhua County, Taiwan, on December 12th, resulted in the death of a 48-year-old motorcycle rider.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:43 AM at the intersection of Minguang Road Section 1 and Douzhong Road Section 2. Preliminary reports indicate that the motorcycle collided with a passenger car, causing both vehicles to veer off the road and into a nearby farmland. The impact scattered motorcycle debris across the scene.

Emergency responders from the Changhua County Fire Department arrived to find the motorcycle rider with no vital signs. Despite wearing a helmet, the rider sustained severe injuries, including multiple fractures. Emergency medical personnel transported the individual to the Renhe Hospital in Tianzhong; however, the rider was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The driver of the passenger car was unharmed in the accident and only suffered from shock. The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the police. Authorities are reviewing the vehicle’s black box to determine the direction of travel, speed, and any potential traffic violations. Due to the ongoing investigation, details are limited. Local residents have expressed concern about the safety of the intersection and have urged authorities to review the existing traffic infrastructure to prevent future tragedies.
