Taiwan's Neighbors on Edge: Rising Tensions Between India and Pakistan

Tensions are escalating between nuclear-armed neighbors, India and Pakistan, sparking international concern. According to Pakistan's Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, the country has received credible intelligence suggesting India might launch a military attack within the next 24 to 36 hours. This warning follows accusations from India, linking Pakistan to an attack on a tourist site in Kashmir last week that resulted in 26 fatalities.

Reuters reports that retaliatory measures have been swift since the attack. India has announced the suspension of the crucial Indus Waters Treaty, while Pakistan has closed its airspace, preventing Indian flights from crossing.
