A popular Taiwanese rice ball (饭糰) shop in Kaohsiung's Gushan District, run by Japanese owner Mr. Higuchi, is facing an unexpected hurdle. Following an alleged incident where the female landlord reportedly damaged the establishment, Mr. Higuchi has made the difficult decision to relocate.

The news has resonated with the local community, with many customers visiting the shop today to show their support and purchase rice balls. Mrs. Zhang Meijuan, the shop's owner's wife, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming community support. She confirmed that a new location is being sought, but the details are still being finalized.

Mrs. Zhang mentioned that the relocation is pending the end of the current lease and the resolution of legal matters. While many friends have offered suggestions, a final decision on the new location is still under consideration. She shared her heartfelt emotion and gratefulness for the community’s support, saying, "I am deeply moved and didn’t expect so much support; thank you."
