A shocking case has emerged in Taiwan involving an American lawyer, Matt (Matthew Cook Bernstein), who, along with two Taiwanese lawyers, is accused of sexual assault. The alleged incident occurred last year and has led to the indictment of all three individuals.
According to reports, Matt, an American lawyer specializing in patent litigation and stationed in Taipei, was having dinner with a fellow lawyer, Chen, from his firm. Chen then invited Ms. Tsai, a lawyer from another well-known firm, to join them, and Ms. Tsai brought along a close friend.
