Tragedy at Kaohsiung's Iconic Sizihwan: Body of Woman Discovered

A 36-Year-Old Woman Found in the Waters Near the Popular Lover's Seat

Early this morning, at approximately 5:00 AM, a shocking discovery was made by a fisherman in Kaohsiung's renowned Sizihwan area, near the popular "Lover's Seat." The fisherman reported sighting a floating human figure in the water. Emergency services were immediately alerted and responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, the body was recovered by firefighters. Law enforcement officials, including the police, were also present. Identification was made through documents found in the deceased's jeans pockets. The victim has been identified as a 36-year-old woman, Ms. Chen.

The Kaohsiung Port Fire Department responded to the initial report. The Kaohsiung Port team dispatched 2 vehicles and 5 personnel. The Kaohsiung City Fire Department also provided support with 4 vehicles and 10 personnel.
