Car Maintenance Incident in Taipei: Oil Vapor Ignition Leads to Injuries

An incident occurred on the afternoon of the 26th at a car repair shop located on Section 6, Zhongxiao East Road, Nangang District, Taipei. During the replacement of a fuel pump, oil vapor ignited for reasons yet to be determined, resulting in injuries to three employees.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and discovered that a 31-year-old male employee suffered a dislocated left arm. A 28-year-old male employee sustained burns to his right lower leg, while a 25-year-old male employee received burns on his left hand and right foot. Fortunately, all three individuals were conscious.

Authorities are currently investigating the precise cause and circumstances surrounding the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
