A devastating traffic accident in Taichung, Taiwan, has claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman, identified as Zhu. The incident occurred on Guangxing Road when Zhu and her younger sister, aged 16, were riding a motorcycle together. The tragic event has deeply affected the local community.

According to reports, a delivery truck veered right, prompting a motorcycle driven by a girl named Qiu to brake suddenly. Zhu, unable to stop in time, collided with Qiu's motorcycle. The impact caused severe injuries to all three involved.

Zhu's sister was also riding on the back of Zhu's scooter. Zhu’s father stated that the sisters shared a close bond, with the older sister often driving the younger one to school. The local police and investigators are currently investigating the exact cause of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

Emergency services responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, Zhu died from her injuries, likely sustained upon hitting an electrical box. The other young woman involved, Qiu, was also injured, as was the victim's younger sister. They are currently in recovery.

The driver of the delivery truck, a man named Chen, and Qiu visited the deceased's memorial to pay their respects. The incident serves as a reminder of road safety in Taiwan, a pressing issue.
