A fire erupted in a laboratory at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taiwan on the evening of December 27th. The incident, reported around 9:00 PM, resulted in visible smoke emanating from the affected area.

The Taipei Fire Department responded swiftly to the emergency, deploying personnel and resources to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters immediately initiated evacuation procedures for students and staff present in the vicinity. Water lines were established to combat the flames.

The fire was successfully extinguished by 9:53 PM, approximately 10 minutes after the initial response. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the property damage.
