A 65-year-old male hiker sustained an injury on Hehuan North Peak in Taiwan, specifically at the 1.1-kilometer mark. Reports indicate the hiker fell and sustained a suspected fracture to his left arm. The incident occurred on the 17th of the month.

The Nantou County Fire Department's Second Brigade, Renai Squad, received the distress call at 13:55. Upon confirming the coordinates, they immediately dispatched two vehicles, including an ambulance, with five police and fire personnel. Simultaneously, they notified the Taroko National Park Headquarters (太管處), the Taroko Police Team (太警隊), and the Divine Eagle Search and Rescue Team to coordinate efforts, involving one member from the Taroko National Park Headquarters, one from the Taroko Police Team, and two from the Divine Eagle Search and Rescue Team.

Rescue personnel prepared with a SKED (Stokes litter) and medical equipment at 14:25. The ambulance arrived at the trailhead at 14:53. Medical staff reached the injured hiker at 15:55, conducted an initial assessment, and confirmed the left arm fracture. They provided immediate bandaging and immobilization. The rescue team met at 16:18, and the hiker was assisted down the mountain to the trailhead. The hiker opted to seek further medical attention independently. The rescue operation was successfully completed.
