A dramatic incident unfolded in Keelung, Taiwan, this evening when a vehicle careened onto a sidewalk, colliding with multiple motorcycles and a pedestrian. The incident occurred at the intersection of Zhonghe Road and Fuxing Road around 7 PM. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver, identified as a 33-year-old man named Hung, mistakenly accelerated while waiting at a traffic light.

The out-of-control car struck three motorcycles and a pedestrian before coming to a halt. Five individuals sustained injuries, ranging in severity, and were promptly transported to local hospitals. Thankfully, all injured parties were reported to be conscious at the time of rescue. One individual was reportedly trapped beneath the vehicle and was subsequently freed by emergency services.

Emergency responders, including the Keelung Fire Department, were quickly dispatched to the scene, mobilizing four fire trucks, five ambulances, and a team of 17 personnel from multiple stations.
