An incident of random violence occurred at the Taipei Metro's Shipai Station this evening at approximately 5:54 PM. A 40-year-old woman, identified as Lin, reportedly attacked a 42-year-old woman, Chen, with a knife, stabbing her in the back. Police apprehended Lin at the scene and are currently investigating, initially classifying the incident as a case of assault. Chen was immediately transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, with no life-threatening injuries.
