Investigation Underway Following Incident at a Taichung City Residence

In a heartbreaking incident, emergency services in Taichung City responded to a report this morning regarding a fall at a luxury high-rise residence located on Shizheng Road, Xitun District. Upon arrival, paramedics discovered a woman, approximately 59 years old, who had sustained fatal injuries. The woman is believed to have fallen from the 25th floor, landing on a third-floor balcony. Police are investigating the scene and have reported the case to the prosecutor for examination to determine if any external force was involved.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman had a history of mental health issues and had sought medical care. Her husband was reportedly asleep at the time of the incident.
