News has emerged today of the passing of Chi Hui-sheng, also known as "Hui Sheng," a prominent figure in the Taiwanese "Niupu Gang." He was 81 years old.

It is reported that his family may set up a mourning hall in a specific venue in the Zhongshan District of Taipei City. Authorities are monitoring the situation and anticipating visits from various individuals.

Chi Hui-sheng was a well-known hitman for the Niupu Gang. In the 1980s, he was involved in several murders, leading to his being wanted and subsequently fleeing abroad. He was also implicated, along with figures such as the cold-blooded killer Liu Huanrong, his two brothers Qi Lisheng and Qi Ruisheng, and members of the Bamboo Union (Zhulian Gang) like Dong Guisen and Dong Guijun, in the infamous 1985 Philippines massacre of the Chen family, which resulted in seven deaths and garnered international attention.
