SBL Sanctions: Ha Xiao-yuan Barred for Three Years, Banned from Games

Following a recent game controversy, the CBA takes decisive action against a coach in the Super Basketball League.

In the wake of a game disruption involving the SBL (Super Basketball League) Taiwan Beer team on April 5th, the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association (CBA) has announced significant sanctions against coach Ha Xiao-yuan. These actions follow reported instances of Ha Xiao-yuan displaying an arrogant attitude, disregarding and potentially insulting the referees during the game.

The CBA has imposed a three-year ban on Ha Xiao-yuan, prohibiting him from holding any position within the association, the league, or any affiliated team. Furthermore, his registration for the current season has been revoked, and he is banned from attending any games within the ongoing tournament.

This disciplinary action stems from the incident during the "22nd SBL Super Basketball League" regular season game, number 87, played on April 5th at 3 PM. The match involved Changhua Puli-Li against Taiwan Beer, and the decisions were made by the 13th Discipline Committee of the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association.
