Experience the Majestic Journey: Traffic Advisory for the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage in Taichung

The annual Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage, a significant cultural event in Taiwan, will commence on April 4th. The Taichung City Police Department anticipates over 100,000 participants in the procession, which is organized by the Dajia Zhenlan Temple.

To ensure public safety and facilitate the smooth flow of traffic, the Taichung City Police Department will implement traffic control measures starting from the day the procession departs. Road users are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider using alternative routes or public transportation.

The Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage is scheduled to begin at 10:45 PM on April 4th from the Dajia Zhenlan Temple. The procession will depart Taichung City via the Dadu Bridge in the Dadu District on the afternoon of April 5th, heading south towards the Fengtian Temple in Xinkang Township, Chiayi County.
