Tragic Discovery in Kaohsiung: Elderly Woman Found Deceased at Weiwuying Metropolitan Park

A Daughter's Desperate Search Ends in Heartbreak as Missing Mother is Found.

In a deeply upsetting incident that has shaken the community, an elderly woman was discovered deceased at Kaohsiung's Weiwuying Metropolitan Park yesterday morning. The grim discovery, made by a member of the public shortly before 10 AM, prompted an immediate police response.

Upon arrival, officers found the elderly woman, aged approximately 74, had passed away. Due to the location of the incident at the boundary of two districts, both Fengshan and Lingya police departments were involved. Investigation revealed a heartbreaking connection: the woman's daughter had reported her mother missing to Fengshan police the previous evening.

Further investigation by authorities identified the deceased as the same missing woman. The family, informed of the tragic discovery, confirmed the identity. The elderly woman was last seen leaving her residence in Fengshan two days prior, sparking a frantic search by family members.

In an effort to find their missing loved one, the family had contacted the Xinjia Police Station and also utilized social media, posting appeals on Facebook hoping the online community could help locate her.
