Navigating Taiwan's Roads: Traffic Management During Qingming and Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage
Enhanced Traffic Control Measures Planned for the Qingming Festival and the Start of the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage in Taichung City.

As the Qingming Festival's long weekend approaches in Taiwan, and coinciding with the commencement of the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage, the Taichung City Police Department has announced comprehensive traffic management plans. The focus will be on ensuring smooth traffic flow around key transportation hubs and major roadways.
The four-day Qingming holiday period, beginning with the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage's departure on the evening of April 4th, sees an influx of people traveling for tomb sweeping, leisure, and religious activities. To accommodate the increased traffic, the police will implement enhanced traffic guidance measures. Authorities are encouraging the public to utilize public transportation options to contribute to safer and more efficient traffic conditions.
The Taichung City Police will focus on traffic control near high-speed rail stations, Taiwan Railway stations, major highways, expressways, and provincial road routes. The aim is to minimize congestion and ensure the safety of all travelers during this busy period.
