Tragic Incident in Taiwan: Elderly Man Dies While Pruning Tree

A 70-Year-Old Man's Untimely Death in Miaoli County Sparks Investigation.

A heartbreaking incident has occurred in the mountains of Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan, where a 70-year-old man, referred to as Mr. Zhong, was found deceased while pruning a large tree. He had been missing for a day before his family discovered the grim scene.

The man was found entangled in the tree with his equipment. Initial investigations suggest a fall, possibly resulting in a fatal injury from the working rope or impact. Authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of death.

The Miaoli County Fire Department responded to a call last night at approximately 9:00 PM, deploying personnel from Tongluo, Gongguan, and special rescue teams to the scene. Mr. Zhong was discovered approximately two stories up the tree. Firefighters retrieved the body, and local police were notified to conduct further investigations.
