Tại Gia Nghĩa (Chiayi), Đài Loan, một vụ tai nạn giao thông gần đây đã dẫn đến một cuộc điều tra nhạy cảm sau cái chết của một phụ nữ lớn tuổi. Vào ngày 10 tháng 11, một phụ nữ 70 tuổi, được xác định là bà Lin, đã gặp một tai nạn xe hơi trong khi điều khiển xe tay ga trên đường Xingye East.

Vụ việc liên quan đến một xe chở khách do bà Xu, 43 tuổi, điều khiển. Theo báo cáo, bà Lin bị mắc kẹt dưới gầm xe và được giải cứu với sự hỗ trợ của xe nâng từ một công trường gần đó. Tại thời điểm giải cứu, bà Lin vẫn còn tỉnh táo và được đưa đến bệnh viện để điều trị, bị nhiều vết trầy xước. Cả hai tài xế đều đã được kiểm tra và được xác định là không sử dụng chất kích thích.

Đáng tiếc, bà Lin đã qua đời vào ngày hôm sau, ngày 11 tháng 11, vào buổi trưa. Các nhà chức trách đang điều tra các tình tiết xung quanh vụ tai nạn, bao gồm cả khả năng có một phương tiện đỗ trái phép tại hiện trường. Cảnh sát đang cố gắng xác định xem liệu nó có phải là nguyên nhân gây ra vụ va chạm hay không.
