이번 공습으로 8명이 사망하고 25명이 부상을 입었으며 2명이 실종된 것으로 보고되었습니다. 블룸버그에 따르면 파키스탄 국방부 장관인 Khawaja Muhammad Asif는 파키스탄이 인도 항공기 5대를 격추하고 인도 군인 일부를 포획했다고 밝혔습니다.

공격에 대한 대응으로 파키스탄은 48시간 동안 자국 영공 폐쇄를 발표했습니다. 또한, 인도 저가 항공사 스파이스젯(SpiceJet)의 X 게시물에 따르면, 인도 북부 공항들도 추후 공지가 있을 때까지 일시적으로 폐쇄되었습니다.
