A 37-year-old man has died in Taitung City, Taiwan, following an "all-you-can-drink" cocktail promotion at a bar on Fujian Road.

The incident occurred on the night of July 23rd and early morning of July 24th. The bar was celebrating its anniversary and offered an unlimited cocktail promotion. The man, identified as Mr. Kao, entered the bar around 9 PM and consumed several cocktails with friends.

Around midnight, Mr. Kao was found unconscious in the bar's restroom. Staff and friends moved him outside to rest, but he did not regain consciousness. Emergency services were called at 2 AM, and he was rushed to Taitung Mackay Hospital. Despite efforts to revive him, Mr. Kao was pronounced dead at 2:41 AM.

The police have requested an investigation by the Taitung District Prosecutors Office. The prosecutor and a forensic pathologist will conduct an examination to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation will also focus on whether the bar's "all-you-can-drink" promotion contributed to the death and any other contributing factors.
