Tragic Accident on Zhu Dong Bridge Claims Life in Taiwan

A fatal traffic accident occurred this morning, at 9:23 AM, on the Zhu Dong Bridge in Zhu Dong Town, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. A motorcyclist was tragically killed after colliding with a tanker truck.

The incident involved a collision between a motorcycle and a tanker truck, both traveling in the same lane. Preliminary reports indicate the motorcyclist was struck by the tanker truck, resulting in severe injuries. The 55-year-old rider, identified as Mr. Gan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services, including the Hsinchu County Fire Department, responded to the scene, dispatching two ambulances and five personnel. Upon arrival, they found the aftermath of the accident, with significant damage and the motorcycle rider suffering fatal injuries. Evidence at the scene included marks from the tanker truck and the victim's helmet.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident. The police are gathering information and reviewing evidence to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic collision. The investigation is ongoing.
