Taiwan's Mayor Urges President and Premier to Prioritize Unity and Economy

During the "Celebration of the 114th Buddha's Birthday Bathing Buddha Ceremony" held by the Greater Taichung Buddhist Association and its affiliated temple groups at the auditorium of Fuchun Elementary School in Fengyuan District, Taichung Mayor Lucy (盧秀燕) shared her views. She stated that while "honest advice is harsh to the ears" and she speaks with the best intentions, she hopes that President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) and Premier Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) will now concentrate on national affairs, unite the people, and make Taiwan more harmonious and stable. The emphasis should be on economic progress and the betterment of people's lives, rather than political games.

The ceremony saw a large turnout, with families attending the "Celebration of the 114th Buddha's Birthday Bathing Buddha Ceremony". Notable attendees included Taichung Mayor Lucy (盧秀燕), Legislative Yuan Vice President Johnny Chiang (江啟臣), and Legislator Yang Chiung-ying (楊瓊瓔).
