Taiwan Weather Forecast: Warm Weekend Ahead, Followed by a Cooler Week

The weather in Taiwan today, the 28th, remains cool due to the influence of the northeasterly monsoon. However, as moisture decreases during the day, only scattered brief showers are expected in the mountainous areas of central and southern Taiwan, and the Hengchun Peninsula.

This weekend, the northeasterly monsoon is forecast to weaken, leading to a rise in daytime temperatures across the island. Most areas will experience partly cloudy to sunny conditions, offering pleasant weather.

Looking ahead to next week, a new wave of northeasterly winds is anticipated to arrive. This system could persist and affect the weather until the following weekend. In northern Taiwan, the maximum temperature is expected to decrease by as much as 5 degrees Celsius.
