Sichuan Airlines Flight Diverted to Kaohsiung Due to Weather, Passengers Face Extended Delay

A Sichuan Airlines flight en route from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Taipei Songshan Airport experienced an unexpected diversion today. Due to adverse weather conditions, the aircraft was rerouted and landed at Kaohsiung International Airport around 5 PM.

However, upon landing in Kaohsiung, passengers were kept waiting on the plane for over two hours. The airline's delay in allowing passengers to disembark led to growing frustration, with some passengers gathering near the cabin door and expressing their discontent, causing a brief period of commotion.

Reports indicate that the flight eventually departed from Kaohsiung at 8:47 PM, continuing its journey back to Taipei Songshan Airport.
