Taichung, Taiwan - A disturbing incident has come to light involving a prestigious kindergarten in the Xitun District of Taichung City. A male instructor, reportedly from the after-school talent and physical education program, is accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl, causing significant alarm among parents.

The alleged incident occurred on May 17th. The young girl disclosed the incident to her parents upon returning home, leading to the exposure of the case. The Education Bureau has confirmed receiving reports and has taken immediate action, prohibiting the instructor from entering the kindergarten premises. The kindergarten administration has issued a statement, asserting their full cooperation with the police investigation and promising zero tolerance for any illegal activities on the part of the instructor.

According to the Education Bureau, the case was reported on May 17th through social media channels and the Child Protection Center. Following the report, the Education Bureau instructed the kindergarten to file a school safety report and preserve relevant surveillance footage. The instructor has been banned from entering the kindergarten.

The Education Bureau has emphasized that the administrative investigation is underway, but due to the ongoing investigation by the prosecutors, the Bureau is cooperating based on the principle of non-disclosure. Should any illegal activity be confirmed, the Education Bureau pledges to take strict disciplinary measures.
