Tragedy in Taoyuan: Four Foreign Nationals Found Dead in Yangmei

In a heartbreaking incident in the Yangmei district of Taoyuan City, Taiwan, four foreign nationals were discovered dead in a rental property. The individuals, all in their twenties, were found on the evening of yesterday. Initial investigations suggest carbon monoxide poisoning as the cause of death.

The discovery was made after concerned friends were unable to contact the individuals for several days. Emergency services, responding to the call, arrived at the scene on Qingshan Street and found the four deceased. Authorities have ruled out foul play and are focusing on the potential role of a faulty water heater and ventilation issues at the rental property. The local police have informed the prosecutors to inspect the scene and determine the exact cause of death.

The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Nguyen (male), 27-year-old Chen (male), 24-year-old Nguyen (female), and 20-year-old Phan (female). Preliminary investigations revealed that Nguyen and Chen were considered "失聯移工" (lost contact workers). Nguyen (female) possessed a valid work permit, while Phan was a student studying in Taiwan.
