Real Estate Horror: Taiwan Realtor Assaulted by Colleague

A Taiwan real estate agent faces a terrifying ordeal during a property viewing, highlighting safety concerns within the industry.

In a shocking case from New Taipei City, a female real estate agent experienced a terrifying assault at the hands of a male colleague.

The incident occurred in December 2023. The female agent, concerned for her safety while showing a property, had asked her colleague, Lin, to accompany her. However, before the prospective buyer arrived, Lin took advantage of the situation.

According to the indictment, Lin initiated unwanted physical contact, including a forceful kiss, and attempted to remove the agent's clothing. The woman's fierce resistance prevented further assault. The New Taipei District Prosecutors Office has since filed charges of aggravated indecent assault against Lin.
