EVA Airways and Air Macau Announce Codeshare Agreement, Expanding Travel Options

A leading international airline announced a new codeshare partnership with Air Macau, expanding flight options and enhancing travel convenience between Taiwan and the Macau Special Administrative Region. The agreement, effective March 30th, will provide passengers with greater flexibility and accessibility.

The codeshare agreement encompasses flights operated by both airlines. Specifically, the codeshare covers routes operated by the airline, including flights between Taoyuan and Macau, as well as flights operated by Air Macau connecting the Special Administrative Region to Taoyuan, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

This strategic alliance is designed to provide passengers with a broader range of flight choices and more seamless connections, especially for travelers wishing to connect to other destinations within China via Air Macau. The increased availability of options directly addresses the growing demand for convenient air travel.

This collaboration is expected to provide significant benefits to both airlines. It is anticipated to bolster service offerings and deliver enhanced convenience to passengers traveling to and from Macau. The partnership is further poised to capitalize on the gradual increase in demand for air travel, leading to improved connectivity and increased opportunities for both airlines.

Currently, the airline operates numerous weekly flights between major Taiwanese cities and Macau, while Air Macau offers a considerable number of flights each week between these key locations, demonstrating a strong existing network poised for expansion through this codeshare agreement.
