Ko Wen-je Accuses Prosecutors of Threats with Explicit Material: Taipei Prosecutors Respond

Former Taiwan People's Party (TPP) Chairman Ko Wen-je has publicly alleged that Prosecutor Lin Jun-yen of the Taipei District Prosecutors Office (TDPO) threatened him with the presence of explicit video files on a hard drive. In response to these accusations, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office (TDPO) has taken action.

Today, the TDPO has requested the Taipei District Court to examine the pre-indictment interrogation discs from two sessions involving Ko Wen-je, specifically concerning the Miramar City case. In addition, the TDPO seeks examination of the "woman" folder found on Ko Wen-je's external hard drive. The goal of these examinations is to prove that no such intimidation or threats were made by the prosecutors. The court will determine whether and how to examine the allegedly inappropriate electronic records found within the hard drive.
