Residents in certain areas of New Taipei City, Taiwan, have received emergency alerts advising them to prepare for potential evacuation due to severe weather conditions. The alerts were triggered by the combined influence of the outer circulation of Typhoon Fengshen and the northeast monsoon.

The alert, disseminated via cell broadcast messages, indicated that a "yellow alert has been issued, please prepare for evacuation." This warning signifies a heightened risk of heavy rainfall and potential localized torrential downpours.

The affected areas include specific villages within Sanxia District (Ankeng Village, Jinzhun Village), Pingxi District (Lingjiao Village), Shenkeng District (Shenkeng Village), and Xindian District (Meitan Village). These notifications were sent out by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture at 12:25 PM today.

The meteorological forecast indicates that areas north of Taoyuan, including the northeastern and eastern regions of Taiwan, as well as mountainous areas in the north, are expected to experience showers or thunderstorms. There is a probability of localized heavy or torrential rain.
