Taiwan is set to experience a significant shift in weather as strong northeasterly winds are expected to arrive, bringing with them powerful gusts and a noticeable drop in temperatures. The Central Weather Administration has issued a strong wind advisory, warning of potential gusts reaching level 8 or higher.

According to a forecaster from the Central Weather Administration, the northeasterly winds are strengthening today and will continue to influence the weather from Wednesday through Friday. Coastal areas and regions facing the wind are likely to see an increase in rainfall, while daytime high temperatures are predicted to decrease by 3-4 degrees Celsius.

The Central Weather Administration issued a "Land Strong Wind Special Report" early this morning. The report indicates that northeasterly winds will be relatively strong. From this morning until Wednesday evening, areas including Lanyu, Green Island, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Pingtung County, Penghu County, Kinmen County, and Lienchiang County have a chance of experiencing average winds of level 6 or higher, or gusts of level 8 or higher.
